Nothing for Michigan? I would love your opinion on my situation. They told me I have AS but so far the two biologics i have tried have not helped. I have to stay on each one for 6 months before they will try something new.

Thank you. I was diagnosed with AS after symptoms quickly developed soon after getting my first covid vaccine at age 52. Prior to that, i was very healthy. Have you seen an increase in autoimmune diseases due to the covid vaccine?

I am 47. Both wrists started hurting out of nowhere. Within a week or so became excruciating. Have a rheumatologist appointment in a month after waiting 2 months already. The pain moves around from fingers to thumbs, now forearms and biceps when I twist my wrists. It never has really let up. Probably 5% of the time it doesn’t hurt to just sit. It feels more like tendon pain than joint pain. I’m about 40 lbs. overweight but rarely got sick my entire life. I’m just worried I’ll have someone put me on a ton of meds killing my liver and have worse side effects than the symptoms. Any advice please?

Hello Dr. Diana, I’m a 31 years old woman that got diagnosed with Sjrogen syndrome when I was only 13 years old, my main and severe symptom is dry eyes , my ophthalmologist was the one finding out the diagnosis as he said he never saw a teenager with such a severe dry eyes . Fast forward, I’m currently pregnant and wasn’t on any medications prior, just eye drops. My doctor recommended me to start on plaquenil, however due to my dry eyes I’m afraid my retina will get issues with this medication. My eyes are hurting and I’ll be scheduling with a retina eye doctor. Do you really think plaquenil is effective for pregnancy to avoid fetus getting my SSA and SSB antibodies from me ? And causing congenital heart diseases? I’ve heard it’s so rare and I don’t know if it’s worth it to continue on plaquenil with my eye pain.

Just diagnosed with Sjogrens (systemic). Cervimeline works great for producing saliva. Take it with a small meal (otherwise I get terrible nausea). It gives me hot flashes for about 2 hrs, but still worth it. It hasn't fixed the problems with my sense of taste. Xylimelt stick-on tablets also work. It sticks on your molar & slowly melts so people can see it while you're talking though. Mint flavor is good (light with no aftertaste). The Cinnamon has a gross aftertaste. Celebrex for joint pain helps-ish I have a follow-up appt and hopefully they start me on Plaquenil. Nothing helps my daily fatigue.

I'm just wondering if this disease isn't found and treated in time if it can lead to CML. I've been complaining to Dr's for years about all the different issues I've been having over the years and wondering why my blood work has always seem to come back really off! A few years ago they diagnosed me with CML which is a form of leukemia! Now I'm on a chemo pill for the rest of my life with side effects so bad I can't even function normally from day to day or hardly deal with the pain, depression, severe fatigue and anxiety. I don't mean to complain or sound ungrateful because I know it could always be worse than it is, truly I do. I'm just so tired of being tired and feeling like I'm a burden to my spouse now. I have no kind of life now and I just can't help feeling like it's because they didn't catch the problem before it became a much bigger problem!😢

It triggers again just during pandemic that I anxiety and etc. I mother had her RA at the age of 80. More on generic but I think food and stress adds to inflammation.

I’ve had all these symptoms exactly as described and all at the same time and though I still struggle with dry eyes and dry mouth, when I change my diet, all the symptoms go away except the dry eye dry mouth, but it becomes so much more manageable. Mine was related to leaky gut and gut candida and sibo both I got treated…diflucan and rifaximin to resolve it. I’ve gone through this a few times over the years, it comes back due to a have a poor microbiome caused by poor diet, infection, antibiotics.

At 50 I had the most enduring shoulder problems, knees and feet. Thru acupressure learned from a monk, I resolved all issues after 8 months, working religiously everyday 3 x a day with Qi gong exercises for healing and maintenance afterwards. This is not a massage. You can go to a masseuse for an hour relief or become one after 6 months. This is acupressure and it takes years to learn thru many generations in Asia. This is the equivalent of acupuncture but without needles and the result is the same. This allows one to free oneself from a needle or a practitioner and can perform on yourself 3 x a day without incurring humongous bills. What this man is showing is true. This is one of the steps at least to reduce pain, better than any medication. But to really cure, it involves more steps. And there are always secrets to be learned be passed on thru many generations. The living proof is Asians who persevere and do not go down the quick path thru medication and surgery, do not have joint pains like Westerners do. At 73 I am still surfing and pain free. When pain kicks in, I know what to do to kick the pain out and so it does not become chronic. By the way, these natural practitioners are not specialists. They do not specialize in knees, shoulders, heart...They fix the inner core that support the joint, the muscles which are the kidney, the liver, the heart! They heal from the internal organs. Each finger relates to a main organ and he chose the middle one for a reason. It is connected to 'the' organ and the specific knuckle relates to the knee. He doesn't look like he has joint problems. He has his humble ways to fix it. The so called chronic issues like migraines, knees, back issues are not as bad as you think. Practicing the right way and regularly every day , 3 x a day like taking medicine will take you out of misery without side effects. Ignorance does not kill us. Arrogance does. For further understanding Harvard universities have quite a few white papers dealing with alternative health care. .
